    Rachel Schilling, Physical Therapist

    PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Growing up in Red Oak, Iowa, Rachel was a four-sport – four season athlete. Her passion for sports fueled her desire to work in sports medicine. As an athletic training student at the University of Iowa, Rachel guided Division 1 athletes through their rehabilitation journey beginning the moment an injury would occur on the field to the day they were able to return safely to their sport. She graduated from the University of Iowa with her degree in Athletic Training in 2015 and achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University two years later. Rachel practiced as a PT in the Quad Cities after graduation where she worked with patients recovering from a stroke, orthopedic surgeries, vestibular disorders, debilitating back pain and many more diagnoses. “I love that my career allows me to help others to achieve their goals, whether those be to return to playing the game they love or simply being able to get outside and walk without pain.” Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and fur-baby Daisy, running, hiking and spending time outdoors.
