    Ben George, Physical Therapist

    PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

    Ben is an Iowan – native born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. Growing up he played numerous sports but was most passionate about baseball. He attended St. Ambrose University for both undergrad and PT school. He graduated with a B.S in exercise science and obtained his doctorate of physical therapy in December of 2017. Ben is one of the clinic’s trained Physical Therapist’s in Functional Dry Needling. His clinical affiliates ranged from pediatrics and neuro ICU to outpatient orthopedics through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ben has the most experience in rehabilitating knee, shoulder, and low back pain. “I believe in optimizing movement for every single patient. Movement is a necessity for creating a change not only physically, but emotionally and mentally.” Ben’s free time involves hiking, biking, and training in the weight room. “Weight lifting goes hand in hand with physical therapy. Different approaches are required for various people based on needs and goals. That is what makes physical therapy unique and rewarding.” Ben plans on competing in Olympic lifting in the next year.
